GLOW Herbed Olive Oil Sauce

Looking for ways to incorporate more olive oil (healthy monounsaturated fats) into your diet? My GLOW Herbed Olive Oil Sauce is an easy – and flavorful – way to do just that.

Loaded with herbs, this sauce makes a great dipper for raw veggies, but is also delicious on cooked proteins or roasted veggies.

A few drizzles of this delicious sauce will give you that extra serving of healthy fats. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:

2 Garlic Cloves, or more depending on how garlicky you want it
2 tablespoons Capers, drained
1/2 teaspoon Dried Oregano
2 teaspoons Chopped Fresh Rosemary
2 teaspoons Chopped Fresh Thyme
Pinch Sea Salt
Fresh Ground Pepper, to taste
Pinch Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, optional
1/2 cup Extra-Virgin Olive Oil, plus more as needed

DIRECTIONS:

Finely mince the garlic and capers. Add to a bowl along with the oregano, rosemary, and thyme. Season with a small pinch of salt and pepper. Use the back of a spoon to smash the herbs into the garlic and capers.

Make one or two mounds of the garlic-herb mixture on a rimmed plate. Drizzle the olive oil on top. Use a dip for raw veggies or spoon sauce over roasted veggies, grilled steak, roasted chicken or baked fish. Change up the herbs and spices to make it your own!
