These Creepy Crawly Spider Pretzels are proof that Halloween treats don’t have to be scary for your health. Made with wholesome ingredients like dates, oats, peanut butter, and cocoa, these adorable little spiders are naturally sweet, rich in fiber, and free of refined sugar.

They’re perfect for a festive snack, a healthy party bite, or a fun treat to make with kids — all while keeping your blood sugar (and mood) balanced.

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup Pitted Dates
  • ¼ cup Quick Oats
  • 3 tablespoons All-Natural Peanut Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • ⅛ teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 28 grams Pretzels, round parts chopped into legs
  • ½ teaspoon Dark Chocolate Chips

Instructions:

  1. Blend the base: Add dates, oats, peanut butter, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and salt to a food processor. Blend until the mixture forms a thick dough-like ball.
  2. Shape the spiders: Scoop out a tablespoon of dough at a time and roll into small balls.
  3. Add the legs: Gently press pretzel pieces into the sides to create legs.
  4. Finish the eyes: Press two dark chocolate chips on top of each spider for eyes.
  5. Serve & enjoy: Chill for 10 minutes if you prefer a firmer texture — then enjoy your cute, creepy, and nourishing Halloween snack!
