MARYANN INFANTINO

Health Coach

Hello! I am Maryann. I have been in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years. I worked for years as a personal trainer before becoming a wellness coach where my main role was to guide employees to make behavior changes to improve their health. I worked on construction sites, at large corporations, and a trucking and warehousing facility. I have interacted with well over 1,000 employees, from the janitor to the CEO and it didn’t matter who they were, they all had a common goal, to feel better and similar frustrations that what they were doing wasn’t working. Through all my years of school and training, the common message was diet and exercise. As long as you ate well and exercised you should be healthy. A large part of the population I worked with were women over 30 who were frustrated that they couldn’t feel better. They felt like something wasn’t right, but all the test came back “normal”. The diets didn’t work, the exercise didn’t work. What was missing? Stress and Sleep.

I started to learn that despite how well someone dieted and exercised, many were dealing with high stress from work, finances, or their personal life and not getting enough or quality sleep. I started learning more and came across a program that finally put it all together for me. As a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, I was taught how to put all these pieces together and learned how to interpret lab tests to help guide effective protocols and get the results people needed.

As someone who was healthy and happy in my 20’s who ended up in a horrible marriage that caused mental stress and health issues, I understand the frustration of not being able to lose weight. I have been told by doctors that nothing was wrong with me, despite having skin issues, weight gain, and mood changes. I learned how years of birth control pills were a big contributor to my issues and I began a journey of trying to heal naturally.

I know the challenges of trying to balance life with two small children and how hard it is to maintain self care. I want to help other women who have been let down by the current medical community and have been left to feel like they are on their own. By starting with the foundations of health and identifying healing opportunities through testing (and not guessing!) you can start correcting dysfunction and attain better health!
