Vaginal dryness and related changes “down there” seem to just sneak up out of nowhere.  This is what I hear from my patients every day.

You might notice that your vagina feels dry or irritated, you pee a little when you laugh, and intercourse has become less pleasurable. These are all normal symptoms of genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM), which happens as a direct result of declining hormones during menopause. And since nobody warns us about this.  Most women are taken completely by surprise and which can be frustrating, scary, and a major blow to our confidence!
